Whether you are in a long term relationship or have just met an amazing woman, it’s safe to say thatsome men need a little help when it comes to planning Valentine’s Day....and that is perfectly ok.

From a woman’s perspective, I get it, I am personally guilty of saying something along the lines of “oh it’s ok if we don’t do anything” But in reality, I want a really good surprise. So yes, I will admit, women (not all women) can sometimes say one thing but secretly mean the other, the gents just need to learn our language right? (no pressure) 

So this Valentine’s Day, I have decided to create some ideas to take the guesswork out and give you some inspiration. You can then pick and choose how you see fit for your special lady. 

Personally, I am the type of woman that LOVES a surprise, doesn’t have to be expensive, just the thought that counts...sounds cheesy right? But in all honesty, seeing a man try is the sweetest thing.

If your woman is a mother like myself, I can say that showering her with appreciation will be a good idea. As a mother of little children, our time and effort for self-care quickly get pushed to the back as we are putting our children first. I can confidently say that if there is ever a way that makes me feel beautiful, I will take what I can get.

14. If she is the one that cooks at home, turn your home into a restaurant, create the table arrangement (google for inspiration) and make her an incredible dinner and dessert. Don’t forget some background music and good lighting such as candlelight.
